About Us

INTRODUCTION
Is a non-profit, non-governmental charity organization, established in 2007 and duly registered with corporate affairs commission (CAC/IT/NO23446) on the 29th of March 2007 with the mandate to provide care and support for orphans and vulnerable children in our society.

It was borne out of deep empathy and since concern for the nation’s poor and needy, helpless and malnourished orphan children, children living with HIV/AIDS and children with diverse forms of mental and physical challenges.

OUR VISION
To create enabling environment that will promote sustainable healthcare and development of disadvantaged children.

OUR MISSION
To enhance the general well being of disadvantaged children by ensuring that their basic fundamental survival needs e.g shelter, nutrition, education, medicare, psychosocial and economic strengthening are met.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
 To foster about (2000) two thousand orphans and vulnerable children in the next 10years.
 To ensure proper upbringing through the realization of their basic development needs, prepare them for integration into family and society.
 To ensure for/informal education at all levels, introduce them to the use of IEC materials, posters, games, recreational activities etc to strengthen their learning process.
 To ensure proper spiritual upbringing by introducing their maker (God) to them using the word of God and encouraging them to participate actively in religious activities.
 To assist them in discovering their talents, skills and improve on their abilities.
 To ensure their 90% survival rate through the implementation of a well structured health care delivery plan via:
a) Early screening and detection of illness and deformities.
b) Proper, timely and regular immunization
c) Working in conjunction with all tiers of government and relevant agencies to access quality health care services.


ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

BOARD OF TRUSTEES
At the apex of the organization is the board of trustee made up of personalities with diverse developmental background relevant to the cause of the organization.


BOARD OF GOVERNORS
This board is made up of multi-disciplinary personalities that formulate policies and implement measures to achieve set goals.

IMPLEMENTING TEAM
This team is headed by the chief executive officer and is made up of programme staffs, technical officers, office assistants, Nannies, cleaners, cook, night guards and driver.


SERVICES/ACTIVITIES

a) Our services range from identifying orphans, disadvantaged children, children with challenges, children that have special needs and other children at risk in our community of resident and other surrounding communities. Some of the challenges we look out for in children include: cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus, autism, down’s syndrome, microcephalus, congenital disorders and children living with HIV/AIDS.
